Fusion is a community of students grades 7-12.  We are a ministry of Morningstar Fellowship.  It is our greatest desire to meet students where they are and connect them to God!  We feel student ministry is more than just a place for teenagers to go and hang out, it is a family for them to belong to, and a resource for parents.  If you are a parent Fusion is a safe place for your teenager, if you are a teenager fusion is a fun place to connect with your friends and a great place to meet new friends.

Intern Shannon speaks about the tendency we as Christians have of caring so much about our public life, how we look on the outside, that we allow our private life to fall into shambles.  She looks at examples of people who seemed to have a beautiful public life until that corrupted private life began to come to the surface.

I can't believe that summer is actually coming to a close.  I can't believe that August is already here.

We have had a wonderful summer filled with lots of fun activities including the slip-n-slide, ultimate frisbee and of course Camp Destin.

I wanted to mention a few things that are going on as we finish up the school year and get geared up for the new school year.

The 7th Grade Promotion night is Wednesday, August 18th.  All the upcoming 7th graders are welcome to begin attending Fusion. Tuesday, August 24th is the Block Party at New Hanover United Methodist Church from 6:30-8:30.

Wednesday, August 25th Shannon Moyer will be bringing the message and then we will be having a movie night, previewing the movie, "To Save a Life".  Plan on staying a little late that night.
